It’s really nice when a B2B client comes along and pretty much says, “We’re really good at what we do, but what we do isn’t writing, can you help?” To be honest, the old site wasn’t terrible, but having met and shadowed the owner of the company to get a sense of how he works, it was clear the website wasn’t reflecting the culture and approach of the company. I gave it a complete overhaul, writing everything from the welcome page through to outlining how they worked and their offering in terms of mergers and acquisitions. After the new website went live, they tapped me up to write a brochure for them too.
